Data also reveals that the majority of influencers on Instagram today are micro influencers, as they account for over 75 percent of influencers in North America. However, influencers vary greatly in terms of age, geography and interests, and can be categorized as micro influencers, macro influencers, or celebrities based on their number of followers.
