Local retailers are heading to Beacon Hill in Boston today as part of a new fight to force e-commerce sites like Amazon, Overstock and Zappos to collect sales tax from local residents.

Frequently overlooked, however, is an explanation of the retailer’s refund and return policy. Such a disclosure should be included, both as a matter of legal compliance and industry best practice.
