On the eve of its 100th anniversary, L.L.Bean writes a new chapter with the March 2010 launch of L.L.Bean Signature (www.llbeansignature.com), a new sportswear collection for men and women. The company has tapped Alex Carleton, the founder of fashion label Rogues Gallery, as the L.L.Bean Signature creative director.

This year’s ACCM, held two weeks ago in New Orleans, was the 23rd consecutive one I’ve attended. And like many of the sad few who showed up to this year’s, it left me longing for the good ole days.
