Your Resource Guide
This month we bring you our first-ever Catalog Success Buyers’ Resource Guide.
We trust that you’ll use this volume year-round to find new product and service pro-viders, including consultants, creative agencies, list managers and brokers, contact center solutions, payment processors, database marketing solutions, e-mail marketing and e-commerce providers, and much, much more.
As if a Buyers’ Resource Guide weren’t enough meaty editorial for one month, we’ve also included two must-read features we think you’ll find particularly helpful at this time of year. Curt Barry’s article on reverse logistics may help you devise a streamlined and efficient workflow process for those inevitable after-holiday returns. See “How to Develop a Reverse Logistics Strategy.”
And we think you’ll find Miriam O. Frawley’s copywriting tips particularly helpful when you go into production on your late spring and early summer catalogs. See her article “A Word is Worth a Thousand Pictures” (page 60).
Additionally, you’ll find useful and engaging columns on catalog distribution and photography from our always-popular writers, Stephen Lett and Susan McIntyre.
A New Editor on Staff
On another note, I’d like to welcome to Catalog Success Noelle Buoncristiano, our new associate editor. You may recognize her name as she previously was a freelance writer for us, penning the last few ProFile columns.
Noelle comes to the staff with much relevant expertise, particularly in editorial, cataloging and marketing. For example, for her previous employer, a New Jersey-based manufacturer and distributor of commercial-grade refrigeration equipment, she helped to create the company’s business-to-business catalogs. Before that, she worked as a staff writer for a Pennsylvania-based trade magazine for the commercial real estate market. And she is a Penn State alumnus. (Go Nittany Lions!)
You can reach Noelle via e-mail at: nbuoncristiano@napco.com.
And finally, I want to wish you, our valued readers, a warm and wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year! Speaking for all of the staff at Catalog Success, we hope 2004 is a prosperous, productive and fun year for you and yours.
