FileOpen Publisher3 from FileOpen enables you to send a secured PDF file to a specific customer that locks that PDF to the PC that receives it. Once the PDF is opened, the recipient cannot e-mail it to any other device, nor can the PDF be printed or changed in any way. FileOpen also offers another solution, WebPublisher, that controls access to a PDF via the Web. With this solution, recipients can open PDFs only if their PCs or other computerized devices can be identified as authorized by the FileOpen Web site. The recipients’ computers or similar devices must be connected to the Internet for such authorization.
