The Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. announced this week that Thia Breen, group president of North America, is retiring after 40 years with the company. Breen will be succeeded by Chris Good, Estee Lauder's president of U.K. and Ireland, while Philippe Warnery, current general manager for Canada, will be named senior vice president and general manager for the U.K. and Ireland.
“Thia’s outstanding professional achievements and her impressive career trajectory from Clinique account executive to group president will continue to inspire all of us to push the boundaries of leadership growth,” Estee Lauder's President and Chief Executive Fabrizio Freda said in a statement.
Good, who has been with Estée Lauder for more than 15 years, has led the U.K. and Ireland business since 2012, and was promoted to president of U.K. and Ireland in 2014. Under his leadership, the company said its U.K. and Ireland business has generated consistent double-digit compound annual sales growth and has tripled online net sales in the same timeframe.
The changes are effective July 1.
