The reality is that in the near future the whole omnichannel label will disappear as "omni" concepts are embraced as standard retail practice. Retailers that transition to omnichannel concepts that provide specific capabilities to support overall business and brand strategies that meet financial metrics will thrive as they benefit from industry innovation. Retailers who fail to focus on strategy and financial results will falter and ultimately fail to benefit from the new opportunities created by omnichannel.
