I was startled to find a Leatherman ad in the Dec. 13, 1998, issue of Parade (see page 34). Leatherman likely hired a general agency and wasted a ton of money on a muddy brown ad with a bunch of little green arrows. The product itself is lost in the overpowering green arrow at upper right. No benefits. No prices. No stores where it is sold. A mousetype sans-serif 800 number to call for information.
