Milton Pappas has been named the new chief marketing officer of Hudson's Bay Co. (HBC), effective immediately. HomeWorld Business reports Pappas will lead HBC's marketing center of excellence, which is charged with executing the marketing strategies of the company's North American retail businesses (Hudson's Bay, Lord & Taylor, Saks Fifth Avenue, Gilt, Saks OFF 5TH).
HBC created the marketing center of excellence earlier this year to centralize the omnichannel marketing efforts across all of HBC's North American retail businesses. The center operates as an in-house agency.
Pappas joined HBC in 2016 as senior vice president of digital marketing. He has served as the interim chief marketing officer since June 2017. Previously, Pappas has help leadership roles at Nine West Group and Toys"R"Us.
