- A library feel: Each storefront is decorated with books from Jack Kerouac, paying ode to the name ‘Warby Parker,’ which came from two of Kerouac's characters. "We spent six months trying to figure out a name. I think it may have been one of the hardest parts of putting the brand together."
- Digital schedule ticker: While waiting for an eye appointment, customers can see when a Warby Parker employee is ready to help them via a digital schedule ticker, modeled after the original in Philadelphia's 30th Street Station. "We spent a lot of time on the train going back and forth from Philadelphia to New York when we were trying to create Warby Parker, and thought it would be a cool touch to add to the store," said Gilboa.
- Photo booths: In its new SoHo storefront, a personalized Warby Parker photo booth will be available to customers for them to try on their favorite pair of glasses. "It's going to give two copies of the photos, one for you and one for your friends. We understand that picking the glasses out and visiting the store has really become a social experience."
