Consumers will always respond well to content that's relevant to them. If you sell internationally, for example, ensure the homepage contains local messages relevant to that consumer. For example, translate the text into the visitor's local language or deliver a pop-up message to American visitors highlighting delivery to their country. Websites feel more personal when aligned around special events. Indicate any delivery delays or updates due to local weather interference in addition to offering cold snap discounts or cross-promotions. Doing so provides the customer with the comfort of transparency and community, fostering trust and loyalty.
