HoneyBaked Ham Hires Former Lane Bryant Exec As CEO

Former Lane Bryant and Catherines CEO Linda Heasley has landed herself a new job at HoneyBaked Ham. Heasley was in her previous role for just four months before resigning and becoming CEO of HoneyBaked Ham.

Heasley’s abrupt exit from the plus-size apparel chains — both owned by Ascenca Retail Group — caught many by surprise. Ascena lured Heasley away from The Limited in 2013, where she served for six years as chief executive and helped return the women’s apparel chain to profitability. During her time at Lane Bryant, Heasley went for a more fashion-forward look for the company and halted the term “plus size” within the office.

HoneyBaked Ham Chairman and interim CEO Paul Roth said that the food retailer has been pursuing Heasley for months. Looks like HoneyBaked Ham got what is was after.
