Thomson sat down with Retail Online Integration at the recent Women in Retail Leadership Summit to share the inspiration behind Yummie by Heather Thomson, what's next for the brand and how her experiences on "The Real Housewives of New York" affected her business.
"The sky is the limit with Yummie," Thomson said. "I took a great idea and a patented invention and I turned it into a brand. Yummie is a lifestyle brand, and while I believe that word is sometimes overused, we really do represent lifestyle. It's the essentials every woman needs for her wardrobe."
