Coldwater Creek: The women’s apparel multichannel marketer enjoyed a 4 percent gain in net income for the quarter ended May 5, from $11.6 million to $12 million — both per diluted share.
The Sharper Image: The gadget marketer suffered a 27 percent decline in overall sales from $32.9 million to $24.1 million for the month of May. Catalog/direct sales plunged 61 percent from $8.3 million to $3.2 million, while Internet sales fell 38 percent from $5.2 million to $3.2 million.
