Dreamr, a specialized, full-service brand box firm founded by Women in Retail Leadership Circle (WIRLC) partner Patti Hester, has launched the Gratitude Box project, a nonprofit program that enables consumers to gift care boxes to frontline healthcare heroes, first responders, and essential workers who are risking their lives with selfless acts during the COVID-19 crisis.
Each Gratitude Box, which costs $58, contains a collection of items, including a special edition SUPERHERO water bottle, candies and other treats, that are designed to recognize first responders' courageous efforts during the current pandemic and bring smiles to their faces. Net proceeds from sales of the boxes are donated to Project N95, the nonprofit national clearinghouse for critical personal protective equipment (PPE) and medical supplies. Project N95 protects healthcare and frontline workers by matching procurement teams with vetted suppliers.
The Gratitude Box was made possible through generous partnerships with leading brands such as S’well, KIND Snacks, Sugarfina, Alpine Start, Wicked Awesome Brownie, and Chomps. Also helping bring this project to life were Dreamr's packaging and distribution partners, Bay Cities and OCM (whose CEO is Dawn Robertson, a WIRLC advisory board member). This collaboration was especially important to these companies as it enabled their furloughed employees to return to work. In short, every aspect of this project was designed to recognize everyday superheroes and help with the challenges they're facing as a result of the COVID 19 crisis.
“We truly appreciate the efforts of all healthcare, essential frontline workers and first responders who leave their homes and families to help save the lives of others and keep our economy moving," says Hester, founder and chief Dreamr. "We are forever grateful for their selflessness and are cheering them on every day.”
