TJX Announces August 2010 Comps Up 2%

TJX reported net sales of USD 1.7 billion for the four weeks ended August 28, 2010, a 6% increase over numbers reported for the same period in 2009. Comparable-store sales (comps) increased 2% as compared to the same period of 2009. Year-to-date (YTD) sales were USD 11.7 billion, up 10% compared with USD 10.7 billion last year.
