Stage Stores October Same-store Sales Down 3.5%

TEL AVIV -- Stage Stores Inc., the Houston retailer, reported that for October, comparable-store sales fell 3.5%. A survey of analysts by Thomson Reuters produced a consensus estimate of same-store sales up 1.5%. Total sales fell 1.1% to $100 million.
