British retailers are taking advantage of the world's focus on London during this Olympic season. Department stores, including Selfridges, Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Liberty of London, have created a variety of enticements for locals and foreign shoppers, according to Forbes. For example, anticipating a high demand for Gucci products, Harrods set up a "shopping line" on the pavement complete with a velvet rope. Home retailer OKA has illustrated pictures of corgi dogs (the Queen's dogs) on its windows.
