J.C. Penney Hires Execs From Home Depot, Target

J.C. Penney has hired two executives with online and supply chain experience from Home Depot and Target. Michael Amend becomes executive vice president of omnichannel beginning Tuesday. Amend comes to Penney from Home Depot, where he was vice president of online, mobile and omnichannel and worked with Ellison. Mike Robbins, formerly the senior vice president of global supply chain for Target, will become senior vice president of supply chain at Penney effective Aug. 10.
