H-E-B to Give Employees an Ownership Stake

While Charles Butt and his family will remain in place as the primary owners of grocery powerhouse H-E-B, the family plans to reward 55,000 employees with a stock grant on Jan. 1, with a goal of building that up to a 15 percent stake in the company.
