Groupon Acquires Local Merchants Site Zappedy

Local business-focused e-commerce company Zappedy announced it's been acquired by Groupon. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed. Besides a message posted on Zappedy’s website and a small note on the site of one of its investors, Innovation Endeavors, there has been no official announcement of the acquisition.
