Nashville-based Genesco Inc. is expanding its reach in Canada. The company, a retailer and wholesaler of footwear, apparel and accessories, announced a deal Tuesday with Montreal-based Aldo Group Inc. to acquire the Little Burgundy footwear chain, which includes 37 stores. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed. Based in Montreal, Little Burgundy serves a “fashion-oriented” 18- to 34-year-old clientele looking for on-trend footwear and accessories, according to a media release. The stores sell men’s and women’s products, including Converse, Vans, Nike, Toms, Timberland and Hunter brands.
