City Sports Names Veteran Retailer as CEO

Longtime retail executive Marty Hanaka will replace Eddie Albertian as CEO of City Sports, the sports retailer said Tuesday. Hanaka, 66, has been a member of the company’s board since 2008 and an operating partner at the Highland Consumer Fund for the past year. Previously, he served as CEO of Golfsmith International Holdings, Inc. and Sports Authority, and interim CEO of Guitar Center, Inc.
