Chico's Names Former Wal-Mart Exec as New CEO

Shelley Broader will become president and CEO of Chico's FAS on Dec. 1, the Fort Myers, Fla.-based company said Wednesday. Broader will also join Chico's board of directors. Broader succeeds David Dyer, who will become vice chair of the board. Dyer is retiring. Broader is an executive with more than 25 years of experience leading global and regional retail businesses, including Wal-Mart, Michaels Stores, and several banners with Delhaize Group.
