London-based Burberry Group plc opened a 14,800-sq.-ft. flagship in Taiwan, according to www.wwd.com. Located at the base of the Taipei 101 tower, the store is the country’s first flagship and the brand’s largest in the region. The space features large LED flat screens as part of a “retail theater” concept. The installation includes a look book of the upcoming fall season. Very Important Customer (VIC) rooms provide intimate spaces for shoppers to explore Burberry.com and shop. The interactive touchscreens can be controlled from any iPhone or iPod Touch via an app that customers can download at the store. SAVE
