The bankrupt Betsey Johnson LLC retail chain will close most of its 69 stores, which include two in Hawaii, following a going-out-of-business sale that starts on Friday. The Wall Street Journal reports a bankruptcy judge gave approval on Thursday for the company to start liquidating its inventory at the stores, which include one at Ala Moana Center in Honolulu and one at The Shops at Wailea on Maui.
