Staples announced that it's working with Gazelle, a consumer electronics re-commerce service, to launch an electronics trade-in program. Through the program, Staples will accept the trade in of used electronics from more than 20 product categories regardless of where they were purchased, according to the company.

San Francisco -- Walmart has the most engaged users across its social media platforms as the days count down to the holiday shopping season, according to a study by the social media and digital analytics company Socialbakers. Walmart has the most number of fans topping the list at over 10 million fans, with over 7,500 fan posts last month, Socialbakers said. eBay is extending its holiday marketing campaign to include an event on social networking site Twitter, where it will host a chat about holiday gifting. The eBay Holiday Party takes place between 9 am - 4 pm PST on Monday, November 21. eBay will give away a $100 gift card each hour during the chat and is using the Bumebox.com platform to host the event.
