Everlast Secures DTR Deal with Sears Holdings

Sports and fitness manufacturer Everlast Worldwide has granted Sears Holdings the exclusive U.S. rights to the Everlast brand for distribution in Sears and Kmart stores and online. The long-term deal grants Sears and Kmart the rights to the Everlast brand for apparel, footwear and accessories for men, women and kids. Holiday Spending Continues with Record Online Sales on Green Monday

Online spending on December 13 reached $954 million, a 12 percent increase versus last year, according to research firm ComScore. Called Green Monday (the second Monday in December when online spending has historically tended to peak), it ranked as the second heaviest online spending day on record behind this year's Cyber Monday. NRF Raises Holiday Forecast

After a solid start to the holiday season, the National Retail Federation announced it's revising its forecast to 3.3 percent, up from 2.3 percent.
