The King of Prussia Mall, located right outside of Philadelphia and owned by Simon Property Group, just opened a 155,000 square foot expansion, increasing the mall's footprint to 2.9 million square feet. The East Coast's largest shopping center offers visitors an "unparalleled shopping experience," featuring a state-of-the-art parking garage (with speed ramps and location technology) and Wi-Fi stations. Richard Sokolov, president and COO of Simon Property Group, says the expansion will drive both in-store and online purchases for retailers, giving customers a true omnichannel experience.
